Will I get banned for using this?
Using any third-party client breaks Discord's Terms of Service, but nobody has been banned for using ArmCord or any of the bundled client mods.
How do I open settings?
Open Discord settings and look for the ArmCord section in the sidebar — or right-click the tray icon and choose Open Settings.
Does it have a portable mode on Windows?
Yes. Download the .zip build, create a folder named armcord-data next to the executable, and everything (settings, themes, plugins) stays inside it.
How do updates work?
The app checks latest.json on this site at startup and lets you know when a new version is out. Download the new build from the download page.
Which client mods are supported?
Shelter (built around it), Vencord, Equicord, plus a Custom slot where you can point ArmCord at your own JS/CSS bundle.
How do the local AI models work?
Install Ollama (free), then open ArmCord Settings → AI Models, pick a free open-weight model, and install it with one click. Models run fully offline on your machine.
